Productivity in the Gib

Woke up this morning and it was 50 in the house. A little too cold.

Unpacked some boxes this morning. Went to the apartment and got all my albums and books that i did not have boxex for. 25 trips up and down the stairs. F that. I ache.

Came home and raked some of the back area. Raked some of garden beds. All loaded with tons of leaves and big chunks of mulch, bark size mulch. Much of it damp and moldy and growing fungus.
Unloaded the truck of books and albums. Raked some more. Hung my hammock. Rehung the hammock ina better place, will require minor bush trimming.

See the bush blocking the view back to the guest house. A holly type bush with really pointy ends. Gone. Always in the way. Hated it. I'll plant something much more colorful.

I have water. I am going to go visit the throne.

Ha ha Duke.

You did a helluva job moving the "small" stuff by your self.

A nandina might be a good replacement for the murdered holly. They have bright red berries in winter which robins feed on during hard times in spring. The new leaves are a reddish color and the old leaves are red-to-purple-ish before they fall off. It also has green leaves in winter.
