Hell Yeah
This is a documentary I watched with my parents Friday night. I guarantee they never saw anything quite like this before. I is something else and then some. Rent it and you will say "I know people like that".
Going to take my parents to the crappiest flea market ever this morning. I call it the "Ten cent flea market" cause most of the shit I see there is worth just "ten cents". It is an education though/
Also going to look at the house today with them and my realtor and her fiancee, of ten years?,. It should be interesting to hear all the comments.
Going to be in the mid 70's today. Thank you Mother Earth our blessed friend.

York HI
Wow, I was able to post a picture. All things must be heading in the right direction.
The rental units will be getting here today. Hopefully the weather is decent. Want to show them the house.
Hoping the owners let us do a tour sometime this weekend. I might take them to the big flea market in Raleigh this weekend. Not sure what else we are doing.
Going to go and sign the paper not renewing my lease.
I want to build one of these in my backyard.

I am falling apart
Love this song. It was a huge hit on MTV when it came out. XTC has some great songs. How many people did this piss off.
Had the bone density scan test today and sure as shit my hip ain't hip.
Not sure what the doc will say. I am sure calcium and vitamin D will now be part of my daily routine. Maybe I'll become spineless Tammy. :)
Won a $195,500.00 dollar bid today. Unexpected business. Woo Hoo. This is a nice one to get for us.
I think I'll hear the house is mine any time now. Seems that is where it stands today.
To all the people who want to get rid of unions and taken away their bargaining power we would not have ever needed unions if the people who run companies paid fairly, treated all as equals, did not use child labor, and the list goes on. If unions went away the average worker would be getting the shaft immediately.
Power to the People. 2011 the year of the uprising against the common man.

Til Tuesday
This is one of my favorite songs. Perfectly crafted pop/rock tune.
Cleaing and packing a little every day. My second bedroom is a total mess.
Will need to make it livable for this weekend.
Going to see if I can have another look at my house? with my parents so they have an idea of what it looks like.
Still waiting for the final approval from FHA. Too much foot dragging.
The middle east is getting crazy. What next?
Have a great day.

Our America

Read those stories on coal and turn off the lights.
Did you know that 43 million Americans now get food stamps, actually know a credit card like system, and that JP Morgan Chase runs the debit card program in 25 states and makes huge profits from this program. So as the number of poor decline and need food stamps the rich get richer.
Here is a link to a great series from HBO. It is all one Youtube. This is the first segment. Great folks, but this is America. Should this even be acceptable that they have to struggle like this.
Record highs are expected to to. 75 or so.
Congrats to the little kid who won Daytona. He ran one hell of a race.
He just turned twenty Saturday. His life is changed more than he knows.

Fresh Air
Slept with the windows open last night for the first time this year.
Nice and refreshing.
It was 10 years ago this weekend the Dale Earnhardt died. Wow, hardly seems like ten years. Would be fitting if Junior won this Sunday.
The termite inspection is today. Still waiting to hear if the bank has approved the appraisers appraisal.
Packing and cleaning this weekend. The Daytona 500 on Sunday. Hope it is a good one. Maybe I'll do a little tour of Gibsonville and snap some pictures so you can see what is downtown.
My parents will be here next weekend.
Have a happy Friday.

Twin 125's
Well another Mike and I will not be going to Daytona. The twin 125's are at Daytona today. Hope all the folks have fun without me, scum suckers.
Going back to the Doc today to get the rundown on my physical last week. Blood test results and so on. Guess I'll find out if I'll be able to pay off my mortgage or not.
The new season of Survivor started last night. Looks to be a good one.
Still waiting to hear if the bank accepted their appraiser's appraisal.
Really the last step in this process.
The governor of Wisconsin is trying to break the states employees unions by taking away their collective bargaining rights. Wow, how bad is this.
Thousands are protesting this attempt at government control. If it passes the people need to start a recall campaign and get this guy out of office.
Some much blame is getting tossed at pubic sector employees yet in reality they do make less than their counterparts in the private sector.
Time to RISE UP and WAKE UP. The government has nobody to blame but themselves for overspending and agreeing to all the terms they agreed to with the unions. The unions will work you with on changes in their contracts. If Governor Walker refuses to negotiate then ALL the workers affected should go on strike and cripple the state. The states were just like the bankers and realtors and got greedy and now they want to make the people pay. Stop giving tax breaks to so many damm corporations instead of screwing the people.
Power to the people. Civil disobedience can work quite well. Look at Egypt, not a better standard to look towards.

Appraised
I still can not load pictures with blogger. Getting annoying.
The house was appraised for $115,000 yesterday. So I already am ahead of the game. Still trying to figure out how to look underneath at the sills and joists. This may become an issue since the home appraiser also mentioned it.
Work really sucked yesterday. Not a good Monday.
A news story that is starting to break is the Chamber of Commerce hired some firms to spy on Americans.
There is some nasty things going on here. Wonder if this will go anyplace. It should.
Here is one story.

And one more.

No privacy.
Tip of the day. Do you know most of the apps you download are virtual spys on your phone. The access all kinds of info and monitor almost everything you do on your cellphone.
You have no privacy. I am going to delete some of the apps I uploaded.

Two tunes for Sunday brunch
Both of these songs are from "The Last Waltz" simply the best rock n roll movie ever. Period. Nothing else comes close.
Winter is getting close to the end. You are beginning to see the early spring flowers popping out of the ground.
Ok Ok so I have not started packing. This coming week alright.
Today though will be photo day. Time to get out, enjoy the weather and move the shutter.
One problem at the new house. Because of the shape of the living room there is really only one place for the tv. I do not think mine will fit.
Not sure how to tackle that one. No tv?
Daytona 500 next Sunday. Hope the race is good. Nascar has had too many boring races and need to revamp the sport somehow to keep interest high.
Stay Forever Young my friends.

Inspection over
The home inspection was yesterday. All was well for the most part except for the major gas leak outside at the meter, that needs to fixed today, it is a major hazard, and a small one in the guest house at the hot water heater. Otherwise it mostly minor problems. Insignificant really. Roof fine, foundation fine. Will have the full report today.
Next is the bank appraisal.
Doctors appointment today. A complete physical. This should be good. I am sure my cholesterol will be very bad and I need to lose weight. Hope that is it. That is enough really. Otherwise I hope to be fine.
Awesome weather for the weekend. Maybe I'll do some packing. About time to get that started.
Yeaaaaa, its Friday.

Moving forward
The best Super Bowl commercial.
The home inspection is tomorrow. That will be interesting. This will be the key event in the whole thing. Hope all turns out well.
Looks like my mortgage will be $25 a month more than my current rent. Looks like I'll already have some equity based on my downpayment.
Do you recommendations for homeowners insurance?
Looks like spring is getting closer. In the fifties from Saturday through all of the next week.
The first Nascar race of the Speedweeks in Daytona is Saturday night.
Will be interesting to see how the new surface changes racing at the track.
Hope they are bunched up more like at Talladega.

Pack
No picture again this morning. It is getting very annoying.
Time to start packing for the move. I saved my boxes when I moved in so for the most part I am set for boxes. Just need some paper and bubble wrap for glassware and such and off I go. At least this will be the last move for some time.
Will need to pick up some gardening tools for the garden. Think I will hit some yard sales and see what I can get for a few bucks. I'll have to get a lawn mower. Going to try and find a non electric mower. Since I have so little to mow I want to spend as little as possible for a mower.
Down the road a bit maybe a hot tub would be nice.
Tired this morning. Could have used a little more sleep.
Time for some toast and coffee.

Welcome Home
Well I have a new house. That did not take long at all. I have to say my realtor did a very good job in doing research on the house and were to price it. Her selling price was right on. Thank you Jen.
The home owner also do not want to have to move some of the furniture in the house and are putting a list together, along with pictures, and are going to offer it too me first. There is some that I would like if the price is right.
This song is dedicated Fucking Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas who totally sucked at the Super Bowl's halftime "event" Fucking pathetic. Yesterday was Axl's birthday, how did you like that gift. Where is Janet Jackson's tit when you need it?
Of course we also had Christina Aguliera forget one whole verse of the national anthem. Cringe inducing Christina. I was hoping for more from you.
Dear NFL, please hire me to be your musical director. You need music for everyone and they also need to have talent. The Black Eyed Stools are a sad example of the American music scene. Next years lineup will feature two songs from the following, ensured to please everyone, Taylor Swift, The Allman Brothers, Willie Nelson and Prince. Enough diversity to please most.
Flowers and veggies and painting coming soon. My hammock will be hanging and I can nap outside. Hell I need a lawnmower. A goat or maybe a pushmower instead.

Am I There Yet
I put an offer in for the house in Gibsonville yesterday. No sense in screwing around and looking at all kinds of other houses. This is the one I want and hopefully at the price I want. Will have an answer by 5 p.m. today.
I'll give some numbers after we are all done. If it does go through as offered my mortgage will be just a tad more than my rent. We shall see.
Packers or Steelers. I am going with the Packers. Should be a great game as these teams are fairly evenly matched against one another.
Slept like crap and my neck is killing me. Hooray, yippee. Need a house just so I have someplace to go when cabin fever sets in.
Thanks for the pic Ken. :)

Snowblind Friend
One of the best bands to come out of the sixties.
Talked with Jen last night, my realtor, and we decided to put off the house search this weekend. Mostly likely I am going to be putting in an offer for Gibsonville this weekend or maybe early next week.
Hopefully I'll be a homeowner very soon.
Go Packers. I expect this weekends game to be very good. Good chance it will be high scoring.
Not much else going on at the moment.
Have a hippy Friday.

Blog This
Blogger says no picture from Mark today. So I present the Dead. Get up and dance.
Wow did Cairo get a little crazy yesterday. Fuckers like them rocks as weapons.
Flickr deleted an account from one of their users. It had 4000 pictures on it. Flickr has no way at this point to recover them. It was all because some Flickr dude hit the wrong key. Oooops. Sorry sir, We have deleted your work for the last seven years. Have a nice day.
I have more info on the house. I'll save it for tomorrow.
I need to buy a new printer. Mine is busted and I really want to print things from the home search and keep a file.
MF'ing NC income taxes suck c**k. I am getting a nice refund from the feds but I have to pay $361 into the fucking state. How the fuck can a single person like me have to pay. FUCK YOU....
Next year when I own a house I am going mining for every deduction hidden in the tax code so I get that money back bitches.
Peace out. Time for coffee.

Happy Groundhog Day
Got more info on the Gibsonville house yesterday regarding the renovation and monthly average for bills.
It looks good so far. If a few reports come back good then hopefully I will make an offer fairly soon.
Trying to figure out what loan plan will be the best.
Crazy how things are going in Egypt. Talk about changing the way your country runs. Shows the power of the people and also how unstable things really were. The world is changing fast.
Slept like a baby last night. Needed a good nights sleep.
My parents are supposed to get snow and ice today. Good thing my dad cleaned off some of the flatter parts of the roof last week.
Time for breakfast. Very hungry this morning.
Did you see your shadow?
