Wake up

For the next few days I am going to have pictures here that I want to put in the gallery. Opinions please.

Recently there has been lots of news about the state of education in the United States, Here a is an idea that will help. STOP cutting the damm education budgets. That is not an option that we should accept in any community across the nation. Cut your budget someplace else. Cutting the education budget may solve your budgetary issues, but it weakens us as a nation. How do you not see this as our elected leaders?

You also need to get back to having technical high schools that offer education in fields such as plumbing, automotive repair, electricians, cooking, hair dressing and other everyday skills that we need as a nation.
We all do not need business careers,  finance careers and so on. We need educated kids who can leave school, not go to college and already have some skills to offer in fields where there as jobs that need to be done everyday for everyday Americans. We also need them to get back to teaching arts. A nation without people learning about the arts is not a well rounded nation.

agreed on the education front. We aren't all college material. I like the photo on top but they all tell a story and are quirkly and funny. only tuesday and I have a headache.

The easy part first: As long as corporate America wants our schools to turn out "yes men" and women with secretarial skills, our ability to compete with an educated world lessens each day. A definite yes to schools that provide infrastructure education.

Photos: You know I love the V-Eight. What kind of clientele does the gallery attract? Artsy types may like the bottom two best, particularly the bottom one with its "barrels for recycling" message. You have a heterogeneous portfolio and eclectic is big these days. I like the top one and the bottom one best because they are more spontaneous whereas the middle one seems contrived, even though it has a message.
Gut check time.

A more diverse and targeted educational program helpful after elementary school.

So hard to decide. I also have the Indian signs from Cherokee that always get a good reaction when people look at the books I have done.

Not sure what the clientele really is, that is the problem at this poiny. I figure I'll just do a fair number of prints and can always rotate them out.
