It's Friday Friday

When was the last time you heard this?

Well it seems the pilot light must have gone out on the furnace cause it is damm cold in the house this morning. Need to have the gas company come out and look at the unit since it is on the roof and I know nothing about this thing.

Last Friday of 2011. Adios.

Been a quiet week at work and I have no problems with that at all. Needed one.

Should I do a roadtrip this weekend.

Time to take a shower in my cold house.

Canned classic rock stations still plays Black Betty often; too often.

Broken furnace; the joy of being a homeowner.

I always found that early January was a fine time for making photos so a road trip will be a good anti-winter therapy.

How about this.

Will climbing the ladder provided by the repair the bottom of the ladder went sliding out from under me, while I about to get off.

I fell 7 feet bashed my skull on the concrete slab, fucked my my left knee and the knee is so swollen I can't really walk at the moment.

Oh yeah, I saw a ton of stars and could not focus on things for 15 minutes or so. But being hard headed I only have a large albeit shrinking bump on my head.

Fuck yeah. Where are my drugs?

If the knee is swollen it could be a fracture and you should go to hospital for an x-ray.
Please take care of yourself, Mark. I wish happy new year to you, your family and your sweet doggy Summer. :-)

I went to the doctor's yesterday afternoon after I moved my leg and about passed out from the pain. It was brutal.

I ended up breaking tibia right at the left knee. So my leg is in a immobilizer so it keeps fairly stiff.

I am on crutches and going to an orthopedic doctor Tuesday or Wednesday so they can determine the course of action. It ranges from nothing to surgery.
