One of the things I like about being away from home is checking out art from artists selling a little shops or on the street. This is from South Beach in January of 2008. The artist is Douglas Blamy. He was very cool. I talked with him for some time and bought a little piece. It is of a toaster.

I love this stuff; about the only time we get to see street artists is when some kind of "days" celebration is ongoing.
I wonder what kind of money he makes. Must get a little tough at times. I like "street artists". You know they are dedicated to their craft.
