Work was insane yesterday. Give me a break, please.

I even liked DQ Brazier burgers but they seem to have quit selling them. I like their soft-serve cones. Only one DQ let in JC after the recession; there were four in 2008.
I'll work on not letting Mike keep us from vacation this year. Two kids in college makes us feel very "duty oriented." A weekend at the beach or in the Keys should be doable but I'll have to push him for it. The yard quote was too high for us to afford. I am fearful of his next idea on how to remedy a dead lawn and think it involves sweat, tears, blood and arguments. Who will watch Summer when you come to JAX? or go to the Keys? I keep thinking of Cafe con leche, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, roaming chickens, cats with an extra thumb, parrots, a rum buzz which lasts from sun up to sun down and that complete feeling of freedom that only comes from being in the Keys.
My last comment on the lawn. Buy seed and water it. It's fucking Florida. Grass does not belong.
My neighbors are taking care of Summer this weekend. Really only Friday night and Saturday. We are coming back after the meeting so we can have a Sunday at home, not on the road.
I am thinking the second weekend in July starts my vacation. Sun, beach, booze and crazy Key West. Oh yeah........

It seems DQ has several different types of places. The one I think of only opens in summer and is more of an ice cream stand.
