Words

Words can mean nothing or they can be quite powerful.

Look at this and see how the same guy, with my description, can be viewed much differently.

Peace officer -- Bring peace to the people.
Police officer -- Polices the people.
Law enforcement officer -- Enforces the people.

Which one of those three do you want to meet when you have problems and which one would you rather not talk with.

Herman Cain's words to some women may cost his run for president.

Even us heathens can feel the power of religion with the words sung here by the lovely Alison Krauss.

Something I read this weekend in Adbusters.

It's pretty amazing that our society has reaches a point where the effort necessary to extract oil from the ground, ship it to a refinery, turn it into plastic, shape it appropriately, truck it to a store, buy it and bring it home is considered to be less effort than what it takes to just wash the spoon when you're done with it.

What are words for when no listens anymore.

Gospel music has always been borderline Pagan for me anyway. This is my favorite movie, period. Totally love "Despicable Me" movie w/ the sound track by Pharrell Williams (and yes it is rap!). cold up there, brrrr. good boot-wearing, leave crunching, pot smoking weather.

Krauss is great.

Cops are willing tools of the man. They do not need a brain to do their present jobs.

My opinion: You and I began this revolution with our blogs.

Oh yeah it is a good movie. Mr. Clooney is quite the actor and handsome in a non gay way. :)

Cold and lots of leaves on the ground. Going to get a cheap fire fit tomorrow.

She is great and quite fetching in a non gay way. :)

They are tools of the state.

We need to step out and lead. Something is missing from Occupy.
