Jimmy Martin Lost Highway

Some say Jimmy Martin is the Fsther of Bluegrass. Because he was seen as a rebel in the music industry he never got many of the things he deserved.
He recorded some classic music and here is one I like quite a bit.

I tried to hear this but there was no volume? perhaps I did something wrong...
Let me know of any upcoming BBQ festivals in your area. I swear I'll drag Mike up for a weekend of that and to visit.

I remember Martin from the 50's; he was popular on local radio. He was good at mixing "bluesy" ballads and Bluegrass.

I think he liked to drink and raise a little bit of hell.

I'll look into some BBQ fests. I know there is a big one in Lexington in October.

Being a renegade contemporary of Hank, its no wonder the goody two-shoes in Nashville shunned him.
