When will governments across the country finally wake up and legalize marijuana? The amount of money spent just enforcing these laws in stunning and could be better used in other places.

Big Pharma wrote the FDA guidelines and most of the laws concerning drugs since the mid-70s.
As long as the billions of federal $$ flows into local law enforcement earmarked for anti-drug usage but no real constraints on how it is used, there will be bad pot laws on the books.
