For my next few posts I am going to show some pictures of some of my favorite photographers.
The first one here is from Sally Mann. I think this is a classic photograph. Sally Mann has caught a lot of grief over the years for some of her material but she is a great photographer and art should make people think.
This photograph is simply classic and a great piece of work.

Excellent choice! I'd seen a story on Sally Mann in a women's magazine years ago. I think I cut it out and may still have it but I've been enchanted with her work ever since. I think My favorite is the early morning shot of her daughter on the swinging bridge in the fog.
Her family pictures are great, some are a little shocking to me so I can imagine what a more conservative person would think.
Anyhow this is one of my favorite pictures of time. Glad you like her work.
