I love the theme song.

Really did not do much this weekend. It was cold and windy. I did a little leaf blowing and raking Saturday morning and then the usual house chores.

I expect another insanely busy work week. Uggh. I need more money and we need more help.

Daytona will be starting this week. Bud Shootout is Saturday.

I need some shade flowers for the yard. Ideas?

20 and windy this morning. Summer is hanging out outside laying in the sun. She comes in for a drink of water and then stands at the door to go back outside. Have at it.

Dog hair and dust. The evil twins.

Going to do taxes. Going to see if being a home owner really gives me a bigger refund.
A decent refund would help pay off some bills and let me start to work on a house renovation budget. I need to get the whole downstairs repainted. I actually prefer that the dining room gets wall papered.

My cable/internet bill is $130.00 a month. Insanely expensive.

I need to start looking a another vehicle. Mine is at 180,000. It still runs well but at that mileage one never knows.

Time to do some chores.

So the gov't and the 5 major banksters agreed to a $25 billion dollar fine to fix the mortgage mess they created. That works out to a max of $2000.00 per eligible homeowner.
How is that going to help? Oh wait, it is not going to help. No bankers going to jail. Watch who they donate to this election year.

When is the day that Greece comes apart at the seams? It looks to be getting close.

My leg is coming along quite well. Not using the brace when I am in the house and all seems ok. A little stiff but other than that I like the progress.

Outside of the usual weekend chores I want to leaf blow a little.

I also want to sand and begin to paint a table this weekend. I think I am going to paint the bottom white and paint the top black. The black will be using chalkboard paint. I think it will be pretty cool.

I should take Summer for a little walk. Very little, with my brace on.

Rocky Top Phishing

I do not think I have posted any Phish before. Thought this would be a good start.

It looks like France is out of the picture for this summer. They have not started renovations yet and they have not even picked out a contractor. Since they are making two apartments into one home it will take several months. Still a chance but I am going to start to look at other plans for this summer and France next summer.

Going to start some seeds this weekend and maybe work a little outside. Do some leaf blowing and rake some and toss some grass seed around.



Well this movie is going to piss some people off.

Roseann Barr is running for President. Now that would be an interesting administration.

Well the Super Bowl was really not a great game. I think both teams did not play that well for the most part. Congrats to the Giants who seem to have the Pats figured out.

Egypt is going to put 19 Americans who work for NGO's on trial. Good job Egypt. Nice to see your country falling apart after last spring.

Time to get some seed starting going. Have healthy plants when they get transplanted.

My parents will be here on their way too Florida. It is the weekend of the Daytona 500.That will be cool.

Well today is America's couch sitting day. Watching football related tv up until 6 p.m. and then the pre-game festivities before the kickoff. I expect a great game and hope the Pats win.

Time for a shower and then off to the couch and stuff my face with food.

Swelling has gone down and it seems to be related to getting my blood pressure meds refilled and back on those again.

Have to put together a letter to my bosses asking fora raise. After two years it is time for one. going to ask for a decent increase or give them an option of a smaller increase and 10 additional paid days off which would bring me to 20 days vacation.
