Big

South rim of the Grand Canyon. September 7th 2005.

Wow did the temps and humidity ever crank up. Going to be in the low 90's today. Going that late in the year was great. The crowds very small and easily manageable. That was the week following Hurricane Katrina.

Really not much going on these days. In autopilot mode for the most part.

Have a toasty Thursday, its time for coffee.

i can't believe it has been that long ago you were there. Lovely photo. Hard to imagine such a place is real. hot here too. Got the AC cranking and the garden is in full swing.

I always wanted to see GC; a beauty of a photo.
Same here with heat.

It is surreal out west compared to what we in the east are used too.
I liked it quite a bit. AC is on right now.

Make a road trip out there at a nice slow pace. It is worth the trip.
