Because all these big companies are failing. I am scared because there is nobody who has any plans to make this better. I am scared because we keep bailing out these companies. I am scared because my tax dollars are getting wasted. Because we keep borrowing money from China, because our leaders are clueless, because we are losing our place in the world, because people keep spending money they do not have and keep on charging everything. I am scared that the credit card crisis is the next problem. Then what happens?
I am scared because people just do not get it. We are in big trouble. Money and greed are the problems. The rich will still get rich while the poor and middle class become one group.
Keep some money under the mattress people. The shit is gonna hit the fan.

What gets me is that most Americans are acting like nothing is wrong and that the new leadership is going to somehow make it better.
I do not get it. Do people not understand that the economy could collapse very easily. I guess not because I see people keep on spending money like they have tons of it. Wait till the banks tighten the screws on the consumer and raise interest rates on credit cards and we can not pay them back.
Then we have a wholesale diaster. People and more banks all failing together.
