Mothernature

Ray Manzarek passed away yesterday. His musical legacy is matched by very few and he did an amazing job of keeping the history of the Doors alive.

An amazingly high quality video of the band performing live.

The Doors played a major part in my college years and Jim had already been dead for 10 years at that point.

Thank you Ray.

The pictures and video coming out of Oklahoma are stunning. I can only imagine the shear terror of being in a tornado. Really there is not much to say as the pictures and video being shown are really mind numbing.

The best quality Doors video I've seen. To me, Manzarek is as legendary as Morrison.

Ok. City must be a bulls eye for tornadoes; this one looked bigger than the last major one there.

It is crazy how good the quality is.
I spent many stoned hours listening to the Doors. Have you ever listened to "American Prayer". It is a great album of Jim's poetry and Doors music.

The suburbs expanding into farm country. There was a time when this would have done very little damage.
