Hi, I'm John Bolton. I am an asshole.
This guy is such an ass. It is no wonder that when we have had people like this who have been in our government that most of the world dislikes us. Maybe in N. Korea perspective they won. Big deal. Laura and Euna are back home in the U.S. and that does count. I bet you would not feel the same if 2 of our soldiers somehow became prisoners of N. Korea.
Ultimately we as a country have to be able to work with a country like N. Korea.
They do want a place in the world as they see that they can get through acceptance by the United States. Through real negotiations we can work with them on putting their country back together. While we are doing that they will give up on much of their nuclear ambitions. It is unrealistic to think they would give all of it up.
We just have to get down to the table and talk with them. They have stated this. Just get it done. We can all look like winners if we can do this.

I really do not think that terrorists and dictators can be dealt with by negotiation. Just an opinion.
I think in the case of North Korea they will work. They have said they want talks with us. However many other cases are a lot less clear for sure.
As long as we have FOX news to count on for stoking the home fires of negativity, we won't have it. I wonder if this guy would have a different statement if his daughter was one of those girls. putz.
