Did you catch any of the comment by fuckhead Wayne Lapierre and Senator Lindsey "Cracker" Graham while giving testimony at the gun control hearings yesterday. Wow, the ignorance they showed was stunning. Goes to the root cause of why we are so screwed up as a country.

So, at least in Gibsonville, the storms last night were not much of anything. Winds for sure, a couple massive downpours, but they did not last long. I guess I was on the eastern edge and missed the mess. I see Boone got hammered. Lots of flooding.

How long before stagnant wages come back to hammer the economy?

Do you know that in some states home builders are back to building massive sub divisions. The folks saying the home building and homes sales part of the economy are delusional.

Right for the wrong

Heard this tune on the radio yesterday. Thought you all might like this. nice tasty cover of a tune I know has been done by many bluegrass bands.

Well Scott Walker won by a large margin and unions have taken another blow to the head. Hard for me to see where working class Americans go from here. We have stagnant pay and have had it for 30 plus years, we keep losing protection for workers and the cost of goods continue to rise. Corporate America and local, state and federal government continue to find ways to monetize everything and we have declining earning power in our paychecks. Unions helped build and create the America that had earning power and was respected around the world and we have put another nail in the coffin.

Equal pay for women forget about that also.

Wow, what the hell happened to America. Enjoy the trip as your paycheck is worth less, cost of goods rise, corporate profits rise, drones start flying over your house, more cameras in every town and the list goes on.

Went to the gallery yesterday and some things have finally sold and 4x6 actually sold while I was there.

Gonna go picture taking this morning before I head out and Christmas shop. Not motivated for that adventure at all, the shopping part.

Seems the cable man was here this week and replaced the cable running from the pole to the house. Two problems. One, I had no idea they were going to be here roaming around the yard. Two, the cable is now running on the ground across the walkway leading to the guesthouse and there are miles of extra cable laying in the yard. Now I suspect that they replaced the cable because of shitty service and that is a good thing. However they should have left a note saying they were here. A call would have been better and why leave the cable running on the ground across the yard. Amazing.

The dryer works great.

The Gibsonville Xmas parade was yesterday. Tons of church were represented. Typical small town parade. Lots of folks were in town watching. Would be nice if they had a reason to stay afterwards.

Time for a shower, feed Summer, wash clothes and head out for a bit
