Horny

My neighbors leave a ton of lights on all the time. Tv never turned off. Wonder how much their bill is each month.

The train just went by with ASSHOLE HORN as the engineer. Why do some of these guys insist on blowing the horn forever and ever. Please lay off it just a tad please.

My wrist is actually black and blue and hurts and the joint on both sides. Very odd.

Have to go. Doing computer updates this morning cut into my time to say a few things.
Maybe later this evening I will have more too say.

Munday

One of my favorite songs by the Dead done by one of my favorite bands that I have yet to see.

So now Summer has a limp when she gets up from laying down. It goes away quickly but that is not a good sign. I don't see that she did anything to cause the limp and the area sees free from pain.

So now when Summer and I go for a walk we both start off with a limp. Maybe she has a sympathy limp. ain't that cute.

Parents will be here Saturday and stay through my birthday before heading back home after a month in Florida.

I have some very minor water drips at the main water shut off valve for the cold water and at the faucet for the warm water for the shower. I guess my first plumbing job is in order.

The NC state lotto, Mega Millions, is at 356 million tomorrow. Pleassssssssssss let me be the winner.

Do not have a mundane Monday.

Random

Part of an old neon sign at a long closed diner on the south Georgia coast.

Lots more rain again this weekend, including right now.

A few weeks ago I woke up and my left wrist hurt like hell. It still hurts like hell and seems to be getting worse. What the heck did I do to it? When I move it up and down it is fine. Side to side it hurts. Lifting things with weight makes it hurt.

Massive thunder. Summer is now panting like she ran a marathon and is now stuck in a space between my desk, the wall and my chair. She has no room to do anything. Not turn, sit or lie down. She may need doggie downers.

1984 is well underway. Here is some evidence.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine what they are doing that we have no idea about.

I am going to go make a fire in my little cheap fire place. The rain has stopped for now.

Have yourself a special day.

Thursday

Time to put shorts on. Mid 70's and a little humid today.
We have had crazy fog the last few mornings.

Well the first head has rolled in the Trayvon Martin case. The police chief has stepped and I suspect many more are to follow. The only thing I'll say about the case is that if the races of the two had been reversed there would have been an arrest the night of the shooting and that speaks volumes about the state of race relations in America. You know that is the truth.

Just wanted to drop in and say something for today.

Relax

Bahia Honda State Park, Florida Keys.

A most relaxing place. Great for going in the water and sitting down with a beer.

Another good thunderstorm last night. My lawn actually needs to be mowed and the lawn mower is broken.

So the NY Times is going from 20 free articles to 10 free in order to me to subscribe. The continued monetizing of the web. I wonder how much the average American now pays each month for all the different things they access via the web. Bet is a whole bunch of cash.

Gotta get going and start the day. Summer wants out for a few.

nothing

Nothing happened yesterday for the most part.
The sun did not come out until close to 6 p.m. It was cloudy and gray all day.
Did laundry, bills and fixed a big pot for a plant using liquid nails.

Did not go to the farmers market. They have web cams and I looked at them and there was only a couple vendors yesterday. Decided not to drive the 60 mile round trip for nothing.

Got nothing else this morning.

Have a peaceful Monday.

Funkify your breakfast

Steve Kimock is not to be missed as a guitarist. He knows how to make the strings sing sweet sounds.

We have had thunderstorms the last two nights. The storm last night was a long one and Summer was freaked out the whole time. She was shaking like a leaf on a tree and as close to me as possible. She does not like thunderstorms and for whatever reason last nights storm was worse than usual for her.

Cleaned a layer of dirt off both the inside and outside of the gazebo yesterday. Cleaning solution of water, bleach and heavy duty cleaner, mop and garden hose did the job. Amazing the amount of dirt kicked up from the train and roads that cover your home.

A little work outside today and a trip to the store for bread and that is about it for real chores and maybe a trip the the farmers market.

Occupy is coming out of hibernation...............

Time for Friday

Tom T is one of America's best story telling song writers ever.

Tomorrow is garden day. Turn the garden over and get rid of weeds and such. Also going to get some plants at the big farmers market.

Going to do income tax this weekend. Not sure if I'll do 1040ez or file as a home owner. Not really sure if it makes much of a difference in my case. Whatever the case that money is going to pay bills anyhow.

Gotta go. Running late. Clothes need to go in the dryer, have coffee and toast.

Enjoy your Friday.

Little Rickie

Rick "American Taliban" Santorum won in two of our finest white states yesterday. Is the momentum swinging the way of a religious zealot?

My leg was killing me yesterday. It does not like to be immobile at all. The longer I sit the worse it gets. It was hard to get it to close to straight.

Warm here yesterday and the rest of the week. The trees will be green very soon.

Training on firefighter uniforms today. This has been my deal to get the company moving in this direction. As the program moves forward I'll get a piece of the action for each set we sell.

If my leg is good after work today I am turning the garden tonight.
