Sins of Summer

So I go out yesterday morning at 10:30 to get Summer and bring her in so I can go out and I find her chain. I just can't find Summer. I start calling her and nothing happens. I come in the house to get my keys and phone to head to the truck and drive around looking for her. I head out to get in the truck and look down the street and there she is walking back towards the house. I call her and she comes running at a leisurely pace. Not sure how long she was gone or how she got off her chain.

Sin number 2. I am sitting on the patio taking a work break and Summer is lying in front of me. I look at her and she is peeing while lying down. What the heck is that.
A very small amount, but still so very wrong.

Wow, nice job of murder by a soldier in Afghanistan. That should be the final signal that we are done there.

In the 70's most of this week and an extra hour of sun after work. Time to work outside to end the day. Very nice my friends.

310 emails. Numerous phone calls and voice mails. 3 bids sent out. Getting ready to send out one bid for Monday. Six bids for Tuesday. Five bids for Wednesday. One bid for Thursday and one for Friday. Continually waiting for people to get me pricing for bids and the proper documentation before the last damm second I need it. HELP!!!!!!

Super Tuesday

This is the late Ronnie Montrose, who passed away Saturday at the age of 64, with a young Sammy Hagar in 1973 or 74. Montrose was a great guitar player who was not known by enough people.
too bad they missed a great player. Goodbye Mr. Montrose.

My damm cable bill is now $148.00 a month. Ouch. Time too make a change. That is an unacceptable amount. Roku is looking better and better each day.

The drumbeat of war with Iran keeps getting louder. Save your pennies as gas will be going through the roof. We should make everyone watch the Arigato video Ken posted. They could learn something about real people. Will I have to be out protesting "No War". I hope not.

It starts again

Did not find a table at any thrift or antique stores Saturday. Did find one at the same store I bought my chairs at. $80. Will wait until the next mark down. It will go to $66 and that price is fine. At table at a thrift store and paint would cost me that much. Hope it is still there.

Did not plant seeds this weekend. Cool and windy all day. Did transplant five plants in an area that I am going to plant many flowers and see what happens.

Really an uneventful weekend. Money is tight, weather was so so and that is that.

Clouds of Saturday

Heard this song several weeks ago on an alt country station. This is Eddie Spaghetti of the Supersuckers. Cool tune.

Another crappy weather weekend. Enough already. We missed all the storms here. Seems they went north of here and the mountains broke up the storms heading east. We had rain very early this morning. Lucky for us.

Going out to look for a small coffee table today and maybe a small rug for the living room. Maybe I can find a used one and paint it. Get it done on the cheap. A white table would lighten up the room.

Not much else for today. Yard work tomorrow if things dry up enough. bought some cheap flowers seeds and will toss those around and see what happens.

Looks like major storms today, especially near Ken and further west. Be safe.

What in hell is going on with the attack on women's rights. Who's next? Watch out if you don't have the "right" god. You're next.

Will be turning some dirt between rain drop and tossing some flower seeds around to bring some color to the yard. Will also be putting an end to one of Summer's hole digging spots with some paver's and plants in pots. Sorry honey but holes next to the house are not acceptable.

Goodbye Mr. Jones

Davey Jones has now gone to the Rock n Roll hall of fame in heaven. While many dismissed the Monkees for years they were every bit as good as many other bands in the 60's. I am sure if you never knew them from the crazy tv show your opinion is very different. They had many classic 60's tunes and they will be sung for many years into our future. Goodbye Davey.

Please lets not have any more tornadoes this year. They are starting early and that is not a good sign.
