So my nephew who knows no boundary's when it comes to finding trouble found some more this week. An ATV accident has resulted in two broken ribs, a jaw broken in two places and a punctured lung. The jaw was fixed by metal plates and screws. Today some kind of treatment on his lung because that is getting worse. WTF.

Weight loss is going well. I maybe at a decent weight by end of summer. At least the gut will be gone.

So this week David Carr died. He was a great journalist for the NY Times and if you did not know him you missed a great journalist. Read his autobiography.

Here I am again

So it has been three months since I made a post and I have been in Florida for a tad over two months.
I will give a little update.

The sale of the house went very smooth. I had one last yard sale before I moved and did very well again. The people who bought the house also bought  a bunch of things and they stayed with the house. The cats also got to stay. Someone was moving in the day after I moved out and she wanted the cats.

Everything I owned fit in the Kia or it did not go. The car was totally jammed with stuff. The trip down was uneventful and 13 hours long.

Work is so much less stressful than it was. We all get along great. I think we are going to Hooters after work tomorrow.

Have been to a couple concerts, a Lightning game, the beach and so on.

Have been in my apartment for almost two months. Bought some furniture a Ikea, got some from Mike and Tammy and just got a dining room table at a thrift store. Going to use Howards Restore a Finish to bring the finish back.

My parents finally booted my nephew out of the house. Hope they sell it and move to Florida. They do not need the stress and bullshit anymore.

Life is good. Back to blogging.

It begins

So on Friday 10-30-2014 I will turning in my two week notice. They do not have any idea it is coming.

Frankly it is time to move on from my job and find a new path forward. Have no idea where the path will lead but it will be someplace nice and peaceful.

Looks like the final yard sale will be Saturday the 8th. Blowout pricing for all.

Massively successful yard sale yesterday. $1291.00 worth of merchandise gone to a new home.
One more sale at some point soon and all will be gone.

Having a meeting to talk about selling the house. Florida may be coming very soon.

Having not watched or listened to any news for a few days is liberating.

I could live in a tiny house, no problem at all.

Lots of rain over the last week. Very odd "summer" weather. 63 yesterday morning

I emailed my realtor today. I am putting the house up for sale.

Got rid of the Denali yesterday and got a Kia Soul. It has a whopping 142 horsepower. It does have a 315 watt eight speaker stereo, sun roof, cruise control and lots of gas savings.

Gonna head to the 4th event in downtown Greensboring today. Should be at the beach drinking heavily.

So one of the young cats living here had three kittens last week. I was down to three cats now it is back to six. The odd thing the mother is not feeding them, her mother is. Yup just like humans the grandparents are taking care of the kids.

Finally bought myself a new camera. A great point and shoot camera. It is the Sony RX100 ii.
Seems to be a great little camera so far. Now to figure out everything it does. Not even sure how to get the pictures off the camera.

My grandmother turned 92 on Friday and Paul died a year ago yesterday.

Weather has been really darn nice. Summer heat is slow in coming.

Off to Charlotte today to see Nascar's allstar race. Free ticket, pit pass and seats in suite. Sounds good to me. Weather looks to be perfect. Hopefully there is action, crashing and fun for all. Pictures a coming.

This is quite the interview.

Got my cpap machine so I can sleep at night. Last night was the first night. I slept for an hour. Felt like I was being smothered. The machine was turned off an I went to sleep. I think I'll go on the 100 pound crack diet. I know this is all because of weight gain. Pathetic.
